In this episode, we meet Carol and Les, the couple who purchased Chris’s home following Carolyn’s death. Being an unbiased party, the couple speaks about how Chris was noticeably grief stricken and zombie like towards the sale of everything and how he didn’t want any “reminders.”

Ash speaks with the neighbors and their reactions towards Chris getting rid of everything involving Carolyn, and how fast he sold the house in Lillian, furnishings and all.

Ash and the neighbors then start to discuss the three different women Chris was (is) involved with, the two homes he had purchased with two of those women in Wisconsin and Mobile and the uneasiness they felt when they were confronted with their fears of what Chris could’ve done to Carolyn.

The Neighbors then answer the question we’ve all been waiting for, “What did the world lose, when Carolyn died?” As we re-watch these interviews we find ourselves becoming more attached to Carolyn, we hope that you do as well.

Ash and team continue to speak with the ‘Neighbors’ of Chris and Carolyn and their reactions to the news of Carolyn’s death.

The neighbors reflect on their account of Chris’s behavior speaking at the funeral and compare the drastically different stories that they were told at the party following Carolyn’s ceremony.

All of the neighbors were interviewed by the police and the investigators at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.

Ash and team flash back to an email Chris wrote Bree, in which he stated (numerous times): “Had you bothered talking to any of the other neighbors you would’ve known this. However, YOU DID NOT.”

Well, Challenge Accepted. Ash and Team head down to Lillian and spend time with the “neighbors”, that they DID in fact talk to.

The neighbors speak with Ash about their personal relationships, friendships with Carolyn and Chris. The tension they’ve personally experienced between them, their uneasiness with Chris and his behaviors before and after the accident and their accounts of the night of the accident. (This episode is intense, BUCKLE UP!)

Ash and team head to Colorado to speak with Carolyn’s best friend, Lynn. She fills in a lot about who Carolyn was, their friendship, the relationship between Chris and Carolyn and the odd exchanges with Chris following Carolyn’s death.

The team continues to speak to Ray Evans, a former employee of Austal and former friend of Chris and Carolyn on his uneasy experiences with Chris.

Bree contacts members of the Atlantic Strike Force Team, who were stationed at Fort Dix at the same time as Chris. She further finds out that Chris was never a “Rescue Swimmer’, but was a member of the Atlantic Strike Force Team as a “Shop-keeper.”

Join Ash and team as they continue to speak with Jules on how terrifying it was to find a body in the water, so close to home.

Ash speaks with Mark about the information within the autopsy report and his medical knowledge and thoughts on the state Carolyn was found in, the morning of May 7. Mark then reflects on a time where Chris put him in a choke hold, to the point where he ended up passing out. Chris had stated that he learned this training in the Coast Guard.

Bree then flashes back on her short time in the Army, and shares videos of her choking out two men to the point of passing out. This was a move she learned how to execute in the Army, as well as from Chris.

The team then speaks to Ray Evans, a former employee of Austal and former friend of Chris and Carolyn and his uneasy experiences with Chris.

Join the Ashes to Ash team for Episode 11 of Season 2.

Ash and Bree start discussing the idea of posting billboards to gain more attention on “What Happened to Carolyn?”

The team then continues their conversation with Mark, Carolyn’s twin brother. As he fills in more about who his sister was, the relationship he had with Chris and his uneasy feelings towards Chris’s decisions and statements following the death of Carolyn.

We then speak to Jules, the gentleman that discovered Carolyn’s body. They talk about what time he found her the morning of May 7 and the investigation that started to unfold right in front of him.
